helluva eventful day today.

i witnessed.

the first steps of life as a gaggle of adults surrounded a baby as she left the hospital and into her new life.

and the final steps that family and friends took with the deceased as he moved on in peace.

~

the tears of happiness as they welcomed the new addition to the family.

~

and the tears of sorrow as they bid farewell to him.


~

emotionally purging indeed.

And as he prepared himself to face
the brave new world tomorrow,
he realised;
he was alone.

~

Isnt it?
