About Me
Daniel
In the Army right now, after 12 years of the oh so fabulous education system. Loving it or not? Well there are times..

He appreciates people who have some extent of wit and conversational ability cause he'll die without it. He can get down at times too, when not being a (almost)full-time energy bunny.

Yep thats Daniel for you.

I was taking the bus on way home today. Saw something that once again launched me into deep-thought state again. There was this mentally challenged child; roughly bout 10-14 in age, and he was listening to his mp3 on the bus. Aside from his unnatural actions, which no one really cared about, he started singing from his mp3. It didnt really sound good, and I guess he had no knowledge of it. So people in the bus were all secretly chuckling away within themselves and I am sorry to say that I was one of them. As it was a very long journy, say 20min? ( tampines-sengkang via TPE ), it was getting pretty unnerving, and 2 guys from a technical institute who were sitting infront started to give he looks of mocking and actually openly laughed at him.

"Bye." he said to the lady beside himwhen he reached his destination and the kindly matron returned his greeting with a smile.

It was then that i realised. This boy, didn't care about what people think. He was in his own little world of innocence, rules set only by himself and himself truly. It didnt matter that people laughed at him. He was just happy. It was all that mattered to him. What society feels about him didnt matter. Innocence is bliss. That saying never sounded more true than it had in my life.

Maybe sometimes we should just stop thinking about what people think of us, and start doing things as long as it makes us happy. Release ourselves from the chains of conformity and seek what you truly want.

Some of the times.

(we will never break free. will we?)
